If you spent time in Austin over the summer you’ve probably heard about the swim club, the and uber-cute restaurant in the Downright Hotel. Outfitted in turquoise and pink, the unique spot is owned by Travis Tober, co-owner of acclaimed East Austin bar Nickel City and Murray’s Tavern. He’s said, “Swim Club is designed to be fun and flirty, a laid-back space where we hope guests can come in and lose themselves for a while.”

The drink menu boasts creatively named cocktails such as Performance Anxiety, Sharks in the Water, Skinny Dippin’ and Tan Lines. And, the non-alcoholic options aren’t boring, Love Potion #9 is made with n/a gin, Honey Dew Better is crafted with Seedlip and Pretty Basic is anything but with almave n/a "tequila", ginger-turmeric, lime, grapefruit, agave. The food is more typical poolside fair with a selection of tacos, burgers, salads and pizza.

After your meal you’re welcome to go for a swim – just remember to give yourself time to digest.
