Texas Ballet Theater presents four performances in one Magical Evening

Texas Ballet Theater is set to captivate Dallas and Fort Worth audiences with its upcoming mixed-repertory program, Diversions, running February 27–March 1 in Dallas and March 13–15, 2026 in Fort Worth. This vibrant production showcases the company’s breadth and versatility through a compelling blend of four distinct works, each offering a unique dance experience.

Audiences will be transported from classical elegance to modern dynamism, beginning with Violin Concerto in D, a graceful classical ballet set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, complete with traditional tutus and refined technique. Then, Martha Graham’s Diversion of Angels brings a modernist sensibility, exploring love’s emotional landscapes through bold choreography and evocative movement.

Artistic Director Tim O’Keefe contributes two pieces: his mesmerizing new take on Bolero, blending rich musical textures with expressive contemporary dance, and the energetic neoclassical Company B by Paul Taylor, a spirited homage to wartime set to the iconic swing tunes of the Andrews Sisters.

With its mix of classical, modern, and neoclassical works, Diversions promises a dynamic evening that highlights the technical artistry and emotional depth of Texas Ballet Theater’s dancers.
