Innate Beauty founder shares treatment that turns back the clock
Dr. Shirat Ling specializes in minimally evasive procedures with maximum results. She’s currently loving the Agnes RF, a machine that delivers what she calls The Baby Nip and Tuck. She’s one of only a few medical spas in the area that offer the treatment, and possibly the only Board-certified physician performing it in Austin.
“The minimally-invasive procedure bridges between resurfacing procedures and invasive surgical lower facelift results, without the risks of general anesthesia,” she says, explaining, “The micro-insulated needles precisely target and penetrate the area while transmitting RF energy to permanently reduce fat and help tighten skin. It is safe for all skin tones and textures.” She says the Agnes RF accomplishes this because “the heat from RF treatment causes fat coagulation, tightens collagen fibers and stimulates fibroblasts to create collagen.”
Relatively new, Dr. Ling says she’sI been watching this technology for a few years, to ensure the technology and results were consistent and safe and says everyone who has received it has been very happy with their results. She says she recommends the treatment toAnyone with sagging skin, jowls, a double chin, herniated fat pads under the eyes; wrinkles or droopy brows and that some results will be evident immediately, with continuing improvement of texture and tightness over the next few months. “Fat dissolution can take up to four months for full results, and may need additional treatments,” she says, adding, “In some cases, we combine it with micro-needling with Radiofrequency (Secret RF) to address surface texture and enhance the tissue lifting.
The treatment costs $500-$2500, depending on the concern and areas addressed and Dr. Ling says, “A single treatment can produce great results, and frequency (of how often you should get the treatment) depends on how well the body creates and maintains collagen. The body will continue to lose collagen with normal aging, so doing these annually for maintenance is recommended. Additional treatments may be necessary for larger areas of fat, and also depends on patient compliance with proper diet and exercise, and use of effective skincare products.”
