Over the past 30 years, Gallery Veronique has become a go-to staple for beautifying your home. With an assortment of art to adorn your walls, this little gallery packs a big impact—and its owner has made many friends along the way. When talking to Veronique Hammons about her gallery, it’s easy to see why she’s stayed in business and made lasting relationships in and around the area. Her down-to-earth attitude immediately charms, and her dedication to the community of Loveland is infectious—both signature traits to be thankful for. “The relationships we built with our customers contribute to the success of the gallery,” Veronique insists. “It’s happened so many times that my customers became my friends. We have drinks, we have dinner. You can’t avoid it after three decades!”
“We’re not a shop where people come in and out in 30 seconds,” she says. “They don’t buy something and leave. We get to know each other. I’m listening to what they like, I hear stories about their families and their tragedies—and they hear about mine.”
Veronique bought her gallery in 1995 when it was a frame shop. And while they still do frames, art is more up their alley these days. “My favorite part of my business is going to customers’ homes, helping them find the right piece.” Veronique will also help clients find better placement for already-owned works, or help them decide what art best suits their space. She encourages everyone to look at art, to find what they like, and to train their own eye so they can truly appreciate their own pieces.
Over the years, Veronique has worked to make her shop more accessible to all. From school art shows to hosting private events, her gallery is a place everyone in Loveland (and beyond!) can feel at home. “We’re trying to be inclusive in the community,” she promises. She also regularly assists with HOMEARAMA décor, installing her own pieces into each year’s designer homes to really make them shine.
