We sent our publisher on a field trip to experience Dream Beauty Salon and Academy's services and meet owner, Briana Rodriguez; here is what we found out.
Q: What led you to opening Dream Beauty Salon and Academy?
A: I’m excited to share a bit more about Dream Beauty Salon and Academy and the heart behind what I do.
I began my journey as a cosmetology student in high school. I quickly fell in love with the beauty industry and started taking clients in my local area. But when I was starting out, I was nervous, overwhelmed, and didn’t have the guidance I needed. I lacked knowledge, and that created a lot of fear.
Once I took the time to truly educate myself, everything changed. I gained confidence, built a business I love, and felt passionate about helping others do the same. That’s what inspired me to open the academy to create a space where beauty professionals can learn, grow, and feel empowered to chase their dreams.

A: At Dream Beauty Salon and Academy, we provide:
- Hair Services: Customized color and cuts
- Lash Services: Lash extensions and lash lifts
- Brow Services: Waxing, tinting, laminations, and threading
- Beauty Education: Hands-on training classes for lash and brow services, with our most popular being the Lash Extension Course

Peggy’s Look – Service Details:
In the photographs we took of Peggy, I performed a Lash Lift and Tint, paired with a Brow Lamination that included a brow tint and precision brow shaping. This is one of my most popular service combos, as it allows clients to enhance their natural beauty while combining both brow and lash treatments in one convenient appointment.
