Empowering Motherhood by Redefining Fitness and Friendship in the Hill Country

When a baby is born, there is the emergence of not just one, but two new lives: the infant and the mother. A woman’s identity made new. Her mentality, priorities, body image and her cherished new title of mom, have all changed in a matter of hours.

Mom to four boys, Jessica Miles was in the thick of it. Living in Houston with her then two boys, Jessica joined Baby Boot Camp to stay active. A job shuffle took the Miles family to California where she opened her own franchise as a cost-efficient alternative to a gym membership and the added perk of meeting new moms.

In the summer of 2018, the Miles family again shifted gears and landed in Dripping Springs. Missing her mom community, Miles saw a need to be filled in the Hill Country. Knowing women of the Dripping community could benefit from so many aspects of this kind of routine, Miles became a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and began her own Baby Boot Camp in 2019. The name wasn’t quite fitting for the ladies of Drip and was rebranded to DripFit Moms in 2021.

“I thrive on connecting people, and what I’ve seen happen time and time again are women who never knew each other previously now leaning on each other,” says Miles.

“The community rallies around each other when someone is sick, has a baby, needs prayer. We are there for each other.”

More than an exercise, the DripFit community comes together monthly outside of workouts for events like Moms’ Night Out. A community for all seasons of motherhood, you don’t need to have a baby in a stroller to participate, or even one at home. It’s a community of women supporting each other, getting healthy, and finding their people.

Operating six days a week with two instructors, workouts are held at Headwaters and Highpointe. For more information and workout times visit, DripFitMoms.com.
