Inside Molly Phillips Jewelry

“I was born to do this.”

Molly Phillips has been drawn to bold statement jewelry since she was a little girl. At 16, she landed a job at a jewelry store, sparking a lifelong passion. She later majored in art with a focus in sculpture during college and, through many design classes, gravitated toward jewelry, eventually launching her own jewelry line. Fast forward to today, and Molly Phillips Jewelry has skyrocketed—it's been featured in Vogue Magazine, worn by celebrities, and crowned Best Jewelry by Austin Monthly in 2018.

Now, as a stay-at-home mom, she’s gearing up for her next big move: taking her wildly successful online business into a one-of-a-kind retail experience—right here in Dripping Springs.

MORE THAN A STORE

For Phillips, Dripping Springs was the obvious choice for her destination jewelry store, aptly named Dripping Diamonds—a playful nod to both the town and her dazzling designs.

“You’re going to feel like you walked into a party when you step inside,” she shares. “Dance music, Dolly Parton energy, a cowgirl-meets-glam vibe—neon signs, pink everywhere, disco balls, and plenty of sparkle.” Her goal is to create a space where every woman walks out feeling empowered, radiant, and unapologetically bold.

“I knew I found the perfect spot when we found the actual dripping springs our town is named after at the back of our future store location in downtown,” she says. “This is the home for Dripping Diamonds!”

JEWELRY THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES

Phillips designs for women who wear their hearts on their sleeves and aren’t afraid to stand out. Her signature style is bold, textured, sparkly, and unforgettable. One word to describe her jewelry: remarkable. “Jewelry worthy of speaking about again, and that’s what I want our store to feel like,” Phillips explains.

What sets Molly Phillips Jewelry apart? The commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures that every piece not only looks stunning but also stands the test of time. Fine, high-quality materials make all the difference. While mass-produced, fast-fashion jewelry is often made from alloys, coated in metal plating, and eventually thrown away, Phillips’ fine jewelry pieces are meant to last a lifetime and beyond.

“Fine jewelry is a feel-good purchase because it is one of the only fashion purchases that is recycled,” she explains. “Sustainability matters, and fine jewelry should be heirloom-worthy—something you can pass down for generations.”

Beyond aesthetics, Phillips sees jewelry as a form of self-expression and empowerment. “I believe jewelry should be as unique and fun as the individual who wears it,” she says. “It’s a great way to express yourself without saying a word.”

WHY SHE DOES IT

As a woman-owned business, Phillips has built her brand on perseverance, passion, and purpose. “I don’t believe in quitting. I’m super passionate about fashion, who you are, and making your dream jewelry come to life,” she shares.

Flipping through messages from clients, Phillips gets emotional thinking about the personal stories behind the pieces she creates. From custom designs to family medallions, her work is about more than jewelry—it’s about connection and building relationships. She never takes for granted the privilege of helping women see the beauty in themselves.

“I heard a quote one time—‘Fashion and philanthropy should be synonymous’—and that is my why,” she shares. With a heart for giving back, Phillips has supported countless charities over the years, including Operation Smile and the Austin Bulldog Rescue.

Whether it's a statement necklace that steals the spotlight or dainty earrings perfect for brunch with friends, Molly Phillips Jewelry offers a thoughtfully curated selection designed to suit a variety of styles. With an emphasis on individuality and craftsmanship, each piece adds a distinctive touch to any collection.

Phillips says, “I’d love to bring your vision to life, see your inspiration, and work with you to create something you never want to stop wearing. Just reach out!” The Dripping Diamonds store is set to open in early fall 2025—and it’s bound to be the sparkliest spot in town.
