Dripping Springs Racquet Club (DSRC) is more than just a sports facility—it’s a vibrant, close-knit community where families, athletes, and weekend warriors come together to play, connect, and compete. Formerly known as the Polo Tennis and Fitness Club, DSRC rebranded to better reflect its mission and deep-rooted connection to the Dripping Springs community.
The club is proud of its programs for women, offering ladies’ tennis and pickleball leagues, open play, and round-robin padel tournaments monthly, along with ladies’ nights organized by players for players. It also offers workshops for dance fitness, nutrition, and a weekly mahjong group.
DSRC is the only club in the area offering all three major racquet sports—tennis, pickleball, and padel—each with dedicated, professional-grade courts. The 10 lighted tennis courts are reserved exclusively for members; guests are welcome to book pickleball and padel courts, making the club accessible to everyone.
Padel is an exciting, fast-paced game that combines elements of tennis and squash. Played on turf-covered sand courts, it features scoring similar to tennis and is quickly becoming a club favorite, particularly among former tennis players looking for a new challenge.
The facility boasts a two-story gym with cardio equipment overlooking the courts, a pavilion area, and a lounge and meeting space. A balcony with stunning views of nearby fields and horse stables adds to the club’s scenic charm. Families can enjoy the three-tiered pool and playscapes for kids.
DSRC isn’t just about competition—it’s about connection. The club hosts a monthly member mixer, where players of all skill levels can meet, play, and socialize. Leagues for men, women, and mixed doubles offer structured, competitive play, while ladder tournaments give members constant opportunities to improve their game.
Beyond sports, DSRC fosters a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with something for everyone. Members frequently host birthday parties and private events. The club also kicks off summer with a barbecue and pool party, bringing members and guests together for a day of fun.
DSRC prides itself on being a space for all ages. The junior program is one of the largest in the area, offering lessons, leagues, and camps where kids ages 5 to 12 can play all three racquet sports, swim, and participate in team games. Parents are encouraged to join in during family-friendly mixers, creating lasting memories on and off the courts.
“The response to our rebrand has been amazing,” says Steph New, the club’s general manager. “Longtime residents who didn’t even know we were here are reaching out, and new families are excited to have a place like this in Dripping Springs. This town is about community, and that’s what we’re building here.”
Whether you’re a seasoned competitor, a beginner, or just looking for a fun and active way to spend time with friends and family, DSRC is the place to be.
