For those of you contemplating the switch to an electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid, look no further than Audi Flatirons’ four electric and plug-in hybrid models: The Q4 and Q8 e-trons, RS e-tron GT sedan and Q5 e55.

Among Audi's latest electric offerings is the 2024 Q8 e-tron, which provides a seamless transition into the world of electric driving. It’s equipped with two electric motors that deliver all-wheel drive and generate up to 402 horsepower, though it may not exhibit the lightning-quick responsiveness seen in some competitors such as the BMW iX, Jaguar I-Pace, or Tesla Model X. For those seeking even more speed, the SQ8 e-tron variant boasts 496 horsepower.

Both the standard Q8 e-tron and the sportier Q8 e-tron Sportback come with a battery pack that offers a practical real-world driving range, competitive with other luxury electric SUVs. The Q8 e-tron gets 285 miles per full charge and can be rapidly charged at public charging stations for long-distance travel.

While the decision between Q8 e-tron body styles remains a matter of personal preference, the premium trip base option includes 20-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, an air suspension system, heated front seats with power adjustments, LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, four-zone automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel and leather upholstery.

Earlier this year, Colorado announced that residents who bought a new electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle after July 1 could apply for a state tax credit of $5,000. The premium trim starts at a base price of $74,400, placing it well within the range to qualify for the state of Colorado’s EV rebate for cars under $80,000 when leased or financed for a minimum of 24 months. Both the Q4 and Q5 plug-in hybrid models also fall within the price range to qualify for this tax credit.

Audi is fully engaged in electric mobility and has plans to introduce 20 new models by 2025, with 10 of them expected to be electric.

“Audi's commitment to transforming its global production network into EV-centric facilities demonstrates their dedication to electric mobility,” said Ryan Gruber, general sales manager at Audi Flatirons. “We fully support Audi of America on this electrification journey and offer a diverse selection of EVs available for immediate delivery.”
