The Greater Sandusky Partnership continues to serve as a catalyst for growth, vibrant communities, and economic momentum across Erie County and the surrounding region. Formed to unify regional economic development, chamber-style business support, and community advancement under one forward-thinking banner, GSP was created with a clear vision: to make the Sandusky Bay area the premier place to live, work, visit, and invest.
Today, GSP is actively driving that vision forward. Through targeted initiatives, the Partnership empowers local businesses with resources, networking hubs, and growth opportunities. Beyond commerce, GSP focuses heavily on nurturing local talent and leadership, fostering young professional networks, supporting summer internship programs, and creating accessible pipelines for regional leaders to shape the community's future.
Momentum is building as GSP advances its integration with Shores & Islands Ohio, bringing together two organizations whose work has long supported the region in complementary ways. Shores & Islands Ohio promotes Erie and Ottawa counties as a unified travel destination, supported by the Erie County Visitors and Convention Bureau and Ottawa County Visitors Bureau, which oversee lodging tax dollars dedicated to destination marketing. GSP works to strengthen the region through economic development, business support, and talent attraction. Bringing these efforts together creates an opportunity to tell a more complete story about the region as a place to visit, and live, work, and invest.
