At 33 years old, I’ve built a life defined by passion, determination, and a fearless willingness to follow what I love. As a Mendham resident, I’ve created a personal brand that spans the automotive world, small business ownership, and a growing lifestyle platform—all while staying rooted in the community I call home.
Many people came to know me in 2016 when I was crowned Miss New Jersey United States. While the title gave me a platform, it was never just about the spotlight. It was an opportunity to connect with people, build confidence, and lay the foundation for the entrepreneurial journey that would soon follow.
Cars have always been at the center of my life. Long before it became my career, my love for automobiles was personal. For years, I drove a six-speed manual Mustang as my daily driver, embracing the thrill and connection that only a true car enthusiast understands. That passion pushed me to pursue a path many might not have expected.
In 2018, I joined Maplecrest Ford, selling cars—an industry traditionally dominated by men. But I didn’t just enter the automotive world; I made it my own. At times, I sold over 30 cars in a single month! Through authenticity, enthusiasm, and a deep knowledge of vehicles, I quickly built a reputation among customers and colleagues. It was during this time that I became known as “That Ford Chick,” a nickname that captured both my expertise and my personality.
My brand grew naturally from there. My ability to connect with customers, share my enthusiasm for cars, and bring energy to the showroom floor helped me stand out in a competitive field. I learned that passion—when paired with hard work and confidence—can break down barriers and redefine expectations.
But my ambitions didn’t stop at the dealership.
In 2021, I took a bold step into entrepreneurship by purchasing Simple Coffee in Mendham. The café held special meaning for me—I had been the original manager back in 2016, and even then, I quietly carried a dream of owning it one day. Five years later, that dream became reality.
Owning Simple Coffee allowed me to deepen my connection to the Mendham community. The café became more than just a place for coffee; it’s a local gathering spot where neighbors, friends, and visitors share conversations, ideas, and daily routines. I’ve even brought my love of cars into the coffee shop by hosting massive car shows that spill down Main Street, drawing enthusiasts from across the region and turning the small-town street into a lively celebration of automotive culture and community.
In 2023, another creative outlet emerged when I launched “That Food Chick,” a lifestyle blog inspired by my love of food, fashion, and travel. The name itself is a playful extension of the brand that began in the automotive world with “That Ford Chick.”
Through the blog, I share experiences that go far beyond the showroom floor or coffee counter. From discovering new restaurants and travel destinations to exploring personal style and everyday inspiration, “That Food Chick” reflects the many sides of me.
What makes my story meaningful to me isn’t just the variety of things I do—it’s the authenticity behind them. Each chapter of my journey has grown organically from the things I genuinely love.
Whether I’m talking about the thrill of selling cars, welcoming customers into my café, hosting community car events, or sharing my latest culinary discovery or outfit on my blog, I believe success is most powerful when it’s driven by passion.
And if my journey so far is any indication, this is only the beginning.
