Eden Prairie Schools and Its Foundation Invite You to the First Eagle Excellence Showcase
France has the Panthéon. Hollywood has its Walk of Fame. Baseball has Cooperstown. And now Eden Prairie Schools has its very own Hall of Fame, which will make its grand debut during the inaugural Eagle Excellence Showcase to be held on the evening of Saturday, October 4th at the district’s new Valley View Campus.
“The Hall of Fame will pay tribute to Eden Prairie Schools’ distinguished alumni and retired staff, as well as others who made significant contributions to our community or attained admirable levels of success in business, leadership, academia, activities, or public service,” said Liz Dayton, gifted programming coordinator for Intermediate District 287 and Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools (FEPS) chair. “It’s a celebration of the great people who’ve helped make our city and its schools … well, great!”
Among mingling, food and drink, and an auction in support of FEPS’ work, the Eagle Excellence Showcase will honor the first class of inductees to the Eden Prairie Schools Hall of Fame, as well as celebrate the 2025 Legacy Award winners: staff, volunteers, and community members who have been recognized by FEPS for their outstanding contributions to the Eden Prairie Schools community. A reimagining of the FEPS Red & Black Gala that formerly honored their awardees – now combined with the new Hall of Fame ceremony – the Showcase will be an inviting evening of Eagle Excellence.
“The Eagle Excellence Showcase will be a wonderful opportunity for guests to connect with former classmates and current students, discover the amazing things Eden Prairie Schools has been up to recently, and salute the first inductees to the Hall of Fame,” said Liz. “We hope to see you there!"
