JCL: How will educating your students look different as they return to school in 2020?
At Children Today Montessori, we have continued to provide the best education and care for our students while aiming to ensure the health and safety of our students, families, and staff. CTM has implemented new health and safety procedures to limit the chance of exposure and maintain social distancing by: reducing class sizes, requiring health reviews before entering the building, requiring staff to wear masks at all times, and implementing more enhanced sterilization and disinfecting techniques than before.
JCL: What unique outreach did you do during the pandemic (March-July 2020) to stay engaged with your prospective students and families?
To ensure the safety of all students, families, and staff Children Today Montessori closed from March until June due to the COVID pandemic. To support our CTM families during this challenging and financially pressured period, we provided complimentary virtual classes for our students. Each Toddler and Primary program teacher presented weekly virtual lessons and activities for their students through Zoom. Our priority during this period was the safety of our CTM family and staying connected with our wonderful students and parents by providing virtually enriching programs.
