Easter at Grace Church

"On Easter Day the veil between time and eternity thins to gossamer." – Douglas Horton

Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.
– Matthew 28:5-7

From sorrow, joy.
From darkness, light.
From sin, salvation, and the promise of life eternal.

Did you let Easter pass you by this year? Don’t repeat that mistake next March. Eden Prairie’s own Grace Church welcomes you to come and pay thanks for God’s perfect gift. His Son. His love. Our hope!

“Together, Good Friday and Easter Sunday are our biggest weekend of the year,” said Becky Mielke of Grace Church. “We welcomed over 20,000 men, women, and children to our chapel and auditorium on those days last April, but we still had room for more.

“Good Friday is the far more somber service. It is dedicated to meaningful reflection and remembrance of our Lord and Savior’s death, and includes a convincing yet tasteful live reenactment of His crucifixion.

“But Easter Sunday? It’s all about joy. Pastor Troy Dobbs trades solemnity for elation as he preaches about resurrection and rebirth from a pulpit festooned in flowers. His sermon this year set a wonderful tone for what followed: the baptisms of more than 40 new believers in Christ.

“While Easter is the perfect time to connect – or reconnect – with God, Grace Church’s doors are open year round. If the day somehow managed to slip past you, don’t wait until 2027 to visit our beautiful nondenominational church. Join the congregation at 9:00 or 10:40am this coming Sunday, or watch Pastor Dobbs’ recent services online at Grace.Church.”
