Cherry Creek Lifestyle Editor Allie Hooson, sat down with Johnny Hoang, Managing Partner of FAM Hospitality Group who oversees the food and beverage operations of Zeppelin Station. We got a snapshot into the spring indoor/outdoor dining in the RINO neighborhood where design meets international cuisine. Bring your dog and some friends to socially distance while dining in the fresh air and experience the art, culture and creative eats of Denver.

TELL US ABOUT THE GROUND FLOOR OF ZEPPELIN STATION?

The ground floor of Zeppelin Station was designed to emulate an Asian night market and features seven great tasting street food concepts. These include award-winning Thai, Colombian, Sushi and Texas barbecue with a Carribean flair, to name a few. In the coming months we are opening an arcade room that will have a variety of vintage arcade games and Skeeball. At times we have a live DJ on the weekends spinning classic rock to radio hip hop and everything in between.

TELL US ABOUT THE NEW CONCEPT AND YOUR FAVORITE THING?

Zeppelin Station has so much to offer in the way of globally influenced cuisine that I don’t think it would be possible to choose just one!

TELL US ABOUT THE OUTDOOR OFFERINGS FOR SPRING?

This spring we are going to expand our patio to accommodate the need for more outdoor space and to follow the current COVID-19 protocols. We want to keep our guests as safe as possible and ensure that they feel comfortable while at Zeppelin Station. We plan to have different events taking place throughout the warmer months such as live music, and we plan to partner with local artists from the RINO neighborhood who will do live paintings.

TELL US ABOUT THE NEW DESIGN?

When we made the decision to redesign the space we pulled inspiration from the neighborhood. We brought in different colors, textures and materials to create a completely different vibe from what the space was previously.

IS THERE ANYTHING ECO ABOUT THE CONCEPT?

We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The building is LEED certified; we use compostable packaging whenever possible; and we have incorporated a refuse program that allows for composting and recycling.
