The Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools (FEPS) will host its annual Red & Black Gala at Bearpath Golf & Country Club on Friday, April 12th. It is FEPS’ signature fundraising event: an evening of live music, fine food and drink, and support for the greatest cause there is. Kids!

“Last year’s Red & Black Gala was a total success,” said Charlie Crocker, senior brand manager at Media Bridge Advertising and FEPS board member. “The sold-out event raised over $25,000 for grants that made a marked impact on Eden Prairie students’ lives, as well as scholarships for students of Eden Prairie High School. I’d like to thank all of our guests who made it all possible, and welcome everyone to this year’s big celebration!”

The gala, which will be held from 6 until 10:30pm, will feature Spotty Fi, a band comprised entirely of Eden Prairie Schools teachers and alumni including Central Middle School music director Ben Anderson. Over 200 guests will dine on delectable food and sip restorative drinks, including the event’s signature Eagles Manhattan (with red and black cherries, no less).

Your support for FEPS isn’t limited to the cost of tickets to the gala. If you’re just as fond of great vintages as you are great surprises, then you will love the wine wall: an array of mystery bottles to be picked from at random. The evening will also feature live and silent auctions for fabulous prizes such as weekend getaways, sports tickets, and the goods and services of Eden Prairie’s magnificent local businesses. (Can’t make it to the gala? Thanks to the power of the internet, that doesn’t impede your ability to bid on FEPS’ auction items one bit.)

“This year’s gala will include our Legacy Awards, which we bestow on teachers, school staff members, volunteers and community leaders who go above and beyond changing the lives of Eden Prairie students,” said Charlie. “We believe it’s important to pause and recognize their incredible contributions toward creating the leaders of tomorrow. I received a world-class education right here in my hometown thanks to our educators. It’s an honor to support them as they continue helping future Eden Prairie Schools alumni achieve success and happiness.”

Tickets for the 2024 Red & Black Gala are now available online! If you would like to sponsor the event, please email Charlie at charliecrocker@foundationforepschools.org.
