“It’s finally that time of year,” said Greg Leeper, executive director of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation. “We’re once again asking for Eden Prairie’s help in identifying projects that will fill unmet needs in our community and change residents’ lives for the better!
“We awarded more than $100,000 in grants to over 25 organizations last year, including Onward Eden Prairie which provides transitional housing to young adults, the Sojourner Project which serves survivors of domestic violence, True Friends which hosts Camp Eden Wood for children and adults with disabilities, and Senior Community Services which performs household and outdoor maintenance that helps keep seniors in their homes.
“Are you excited about an organization that enhances the quality of life in our community through music, visual and performing arts, or other means? Creates educational and development opportunities for youth and adults inside or outside the classroom? Engages residents in activities that sustain or improve the quality of Eden Prairie’s natural resources? Provides for important community needs such as food, housing, clothing, furniture, or assistance for seniors and people with disabilities?
