Eden Prairie Lifestyle's Sixth Anniversary Party

Ain't No Party Like a Magazine Party 'Cause a Magazine Party Don't Stop

THERE WE WERE – all assembled in the private dining room of Tavern 4&5, eagerly anticipating the big moment.

We were a true dream team. There was John Lee, publisher of Eden Prairie Lifestyle, whose lovely wife Shannon was sadly kept at home by some dreadful bug. There was Blake Lawrence, our intrepid intern and the founder of Real Media MN. There was Marcia LeVoir of LegalShield, who, realizing how weak we were without Shannon, selflessly volunteered to help make our big moment a big hit. There were also me and my beautiful wife Nina, whom I love with all my heart and have never done anything wrong to, and who reads all of this magazine’s articles.

Suddenly – exactly when we expected them to – our guests began to arrive. Many of them were our very favorite people in the whole wide world: clients. They and several other linchpins of our community honored our team by attending Eden Prairie’s most important magazine-related event of the entire year.

OUR PARTY

We had drinks! We ate cocktail shrimps, Nothing Bundt Cakes’ delicious little Bundtinis, and Sergeant Shortbread’s indescribably good crispity-buttery things! We schmoozed! We schmoozed like we had never schmoozed before, because everything at our party was perfect and nice.

Such frenetic schmoozing could only have been disrupted by one thing: John’s speech, in which he outpoured his gratitude toward the community that has made our magazine a resounding success, and announced the recipients of the evening’s fabulous prizes. Congrats again to the winners of gift cards from ALL Travel, ALTA Honors, Baker’s Ribs, Bella Gina Boutique, Bill’s Toggery, CottageCare, The Hearth, LX Medical, The Mustard Seed, Pho Mai, Redstone American Grill, Tavern 4&5, and Woodhouse Spa, and Prairie Wine & Brewfest tickets courtesy of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation!

We’d like to thank every guest, everyone who generously donated prizes, and Executive Transportation for helping us throw our most magnificent fiesta to date. But more than anyone else, we’d like to thank that figure who is most central to our six-year spree of prosperity and good fortune: you. Without your readership and the close attention you pay to our many fine ads, we’d be bupkis.
