Roswell Woman's Club Awards $150,000 in Nonprofit Grants and Scholarships

The Roswell Woman's Club (RWC) announced their distribution of $150,000 in community support through 86 Grants and Scholarships to Benefit Teachers, Nonprofits, and Students. This significant investment in the Greater North Fulton community will directly benefit local teachers, nonprofit organizations, and graduating high school seniors.

The disbursement included:

  • 38 teacher grants supporting innovative classroom projects and educational initiatives

  • 27 nonprofit grants to local organizations serving North Fulton County

  • 21 scholarships for graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education

"The Roswell Woman's Club is proud to continue our tradition of supporting education and community service in North Fulton," said Leigh Ann Buelow, president of the Roswell Woman's Club. "These funds represent countless hours of fundraising efforts by our members, and we're thrilled to see them make a direct impact on teachers, students, and organizations that strengthen our community."

Nonprofit Organization Grants are applied for and awarded based on several criteria, including need, purpose, and intended impact of the funding. Scholarship student recipients were selected based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, and community involvement.

About the Roswell Woman’s Club

The Roswell Woman’s Club is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) service organization whose common interest is to support Greater North Fulton County in the areas of educational scholarships and grants, human services, cultural arts, historical preservation and urban improvement. The club has served the community since 1948. Since 1997, RWC has awarded more than $2.9 million to scholarship and grant recipients.
