Start the new year off right with the Women with Voices third annual “Live Your Why, Unstoppable” Summit at Zenia Omaha in January! More than 250 women will gather for an afternoon of thought-provoking speakers, shopping, networking, and learning to discover their purpose and unleash their full potential for an unstoppable 2025.
After weathering harrowing devastations in her own life, Women with Voices CEO Sandy Spady emerged with a passion for helping other women overcome obstacles and giving a voice to women’s stories of hope and perseverance.
“So many times, women share their stories with me and I’m like, ‘You’re so successful! No one would suspect that,’” said Spady. “People have been my thing my entire life. I've worked with nonprofits, fundraisers, and chambers. I realized I had an opportunity to use my community connections to make a difference, so I created a space where women can share their stories — the story behind the story — to learn from and empower one another. They bring their stories and I give them beautiful platforms to speak at.”
Since its founding in 2021, Spady has held the organization loosely, allowing it to organically evolve into what its members need and want. Currently, women meet for a monthly “coffee” at The Winery & Deli to connect, network, and share celebrations, a monthly speaking event where one or two women are pre-selected to share their story, and the annual Summit conference.
Spady’s mission has clearly struck a chord with women as the organization continues to grow — its Facebook group now boasting more than 1,900 members. “I want women to know they’re not alone,” Spady said. “Women with Voices is collaborative and diverse with women in their 20s to 70s, so everyone feels safe. When women share their journeys, they ignite a spark in others, empowering them to seek more from life, rise above challenges, and become truly unstoppable.”
