Off to the Mountains, or Close to Home

Roswell's Kim Wimbs will make it happen

Kim Wimbs is first in line for pumpkin spice lattes. She carefully shops for Cinderella pumpkins as if she were choosing a diamond and spends her rare free Sundays driving to the mountains to visit apple orchards and pumpkin patches. This Roswell realtor is a die-hard fall fan. So when a client called to list her Blue Ridge cabin, Kim was all in.

“This cabin belonged to a family that created so many wonderful memories, but the time had come to close that chapter for another family to enjoy,” says Kim.

The cabin was snatched up even before it hit the market. Kim says the market is not only hot here in Roswell, but all over Georgia. “Making an investment in a log cabin is a great way to produce income with short-term rentals, while getting to have a place to enjoy with your family and friends. It's a pretty spectacular deal having someone else pay your mortgage while building equity,” she explains.

Back here in Roswell, Kim is counting the days until her all-time favorite fall event, the Youth Day Parade. This year it is set for October 9 at 10 a.m. in downtown Roswell. “We will start off the morning with a stroll down Canton Street to Crazy Love Coffee House for a latte and then head to Gracious Plenty for the best biscuit in town. Next, we scout out our prime location for the parade,” says Kim. “It's Roswell at its best.”

Kim is a top agent with the Keller Williams Realty Consultants office located in Roswell. She works with clients in and around Roswell to help buy and sell. “During this crazy market, it's important to have a specific plan for each individual client to achieve the most from the sale of a home and to present offers that win homes. I pride myself on my customer service and making the home buying/selling process as smooth and stress-free as possible."
