When Shannon Vail, owner and founder of Skinfinity Medspa, speaks about her experience in the field of aesthetics, her enthusiasm is clear to see. Having spent close to 15 years in medical aesthetics, Shannon has created something much bigger than a company, she's created a haven of self-healing, restoration, and transformation in the heart of the city.

“I was in love with aesthetics from the beginning," Shannon says. "Getting people to feel good about themselves, not just on the outside but inside as well, is such a fulfilling thing. What we offer at Skinfinity is the best of both worlds: pampering and realistic outcomes."

Raised and born in Fargo, North Dakota, Shannon moved to Arizona nearly 13 years ago with her husband. Having built a life and family, now a proud mom of three, Shannon went on to advance her career, eventually taking the leap to build her own medspa. She envisioned a place where she could blend her clinical experience with her inner values: warmth, integrity, and connection.

“I’ve always had a heart for leading and teaching,” she says. “Opening Skinfinity gave me a chance to do that in a way that aligned with my beliefs, leading with patience, grace, and openness.”

That dream expanded when Shannon partnered with Angelyn Wolforth, a lifelong friend with extensive business administration and finance experience. The two wives, mothers, and dog moms pooled their complementary talents to form a powerhouse partnership. Their values are the cornerstones of Skinfinity's culture, a community in which teammates feel empowered, clients feel heard, and beauty is addressed with purpose and heart.

Skinfinity is not your typical medspa. It's a high-end aesthetic and wellness center offering a full array of services from specially tailored facials and laser treatments to injectables, chemical peels, body contouring, and wellness treatments. Every service is done in a very clean, and friendly environment by all-female, locally owned therapists who have accumulated more than 45 years of combined experience.

What sets Skinfinity apart, however, is its personalized, result-driven treatment. "Our therapists spend time with each client," Shannon explains. "We don't think in terms of clients looking like everyone else. Each treatment plan is tailored to your skin, your needs, and your particular lifestyle."

Clients come not just for the treatments, but for the experience, the friendly greeting, the friendly staff, and the real friendships that develop along the way. "We hear it all the time: 'It just feels different here.' And that's exactly what we set out to create."

When deciding where to open Skinfinity, there was no question: it had to be Gilbert. "Home is this community," Shannon says. "Where we reside, raise our kids, and encounter individuals who happen to live in the same community. Gilbert encourages small business in a manner that's distinct, and we needed to be part of that neighborhood."

It wasn't an entirely strategic decision - it was very personal. Shannon and Angelyn saw that the East Valley needed a unified, high-end aesthetic and wellness lifestyle, and they filled the void.

As the seasons change, so should your skincare. Shannon offers her top five expert tips to keep your skin looking its best during the colder months:

Add Hydration:

With drier air, it's imperative to boost your moisturizer. Look for hyaluronic acid, ceramides, or squalane to lock in moisture.

Don’t Skip SPF:

Even in winter, and especially in Arizona, you’re still exposed to UV rays and blue light. Daily sunscreen is non-negotiable.

Exfoliate Consistently:

Incorporate exfoliants like retinol and AHAs to keep skin fresh and encourage cell turnover.

Show Love to Lips and Eyes:

Use a nourishing balm and hydrating eye cream. These areas are delicate and prone to dryness.

Visit Your Aesthetician

Fall and winter are perfect seasons for corrective treatments. It's also a good time for hydrating facials to maintain your glow.

Skinfinity even offers complimentary consultations to create at-home routines tailored to individual needs. In addition to beauty, Skinfinity focuses on empowerment, community, and gratitude. Shannon is quick to offer kudos to the staff with whom she works daily. “I’m so proud of our team. Their dedication and care are what make this space special,” she says. “And to our clients, thank you. Your support keeps our dream alive.”

As Skinfinity celebrates three years in business, Shannon and her team look ahead with hope and excitement. They’re not just building a brand, they’re nurturing a community rooted in faith, family, and a belief that everyone deserves to feel confident and cared for.

Whether you require a moment of relief, a long-term solution for your skin, or simply a space where you feel uplifted, Skinfinity is not just a medspa. It's home for your skin, your soul.

"Helping people feel good inside and out - Skinfinity blends pampering with personalized, results-driven aesthetic care."
