As I thought about my favorite spots, I realized that I should showcase some of the best hidden gems in Meridian. But did you know we have a pinball machine “museum?” Yes, the arcade game in which a player uses paddles to manipulate one or more balls inside a glass-covered machine. Debbie Courson-Smith, her husband Dwayne Smith, and Dave Fellows decided to turn their personal pinball collections into an interactive museum called the Idaho Pinball Museum, commonly known as the Ugly Gold Couch.
By playing arcade games without worrying about losing valuable tokens or quarters, players may focus on mastering the machines' geometry and physics. It's possible to pick up moves like "tilt," "bounce pass," and "death save" over time.
