Exploring Homes, Stories, and Second Chances

Helping families navigate transitions through thoughtful design, consignment, and estate sales.

Exploration can look different for everyone. For some, it means traveling somewhere new. For Gina Falco, owner of Once & Again Consignment, it means helping people navigate life’s biggest transitions while discovering new possibilities for the homes—and memories—they leave behind.

What began as a consignment business rooted in interior design has evolved into something much larger. Alongside her original Madison location, Falco opened her Montville showroom to create more space for furniture consignment, estate sale finds and the growing community of clients who rely on her during overwhelming moments in life.

“I help people,” she says simply. “That’s the main thing.”

Falco’s background in interior design naturally led her into the world of consignment and estate sales. She realized that many clients redesigning their homes every few years were searching for meaningful ways to repurpose or sell quality furniture instead of throwing it away. Today, her business blends interior design, estate sales and consignment into one seamless process.

On average, Falco oversees more than 60 estate sales each year. Some involve downsizing, while others stem from loss or major life changes. In every situation, she approaches clients with the same mindset: remove the stress and guide them through the transition.

“Once I show up, I’m like, ‘I got you,’” Falco says. “There’s nothing else to worry about.”

That level of care is what sets her apart. She doesn’t simply organize sales—she helps clients sort through decades of memories, assists elderly homeowners preparing for moves and even offers pre-sale appointments before estate sales officially begin. Her loyal following often purchases furniture before the doors even open.

Recently, Falco sold nearly every piece of furniture from a mid-century modern estate sale before the event started, attracting buyers from across New Jersey and New York City. Her ability to visualize potential in every item—and every space—has become one of her signatures.

“I can look at something and create something out of nothing,” she says.

Inside the Montville store, curated furniture pieces, décor and vintage finds are carefully arranged to inspire customers exploring their own homes and styles. Falco can envision an entire room from a single chair or help young couples furnish their first apartment with high-end pieces at accessible prices.

But for her, the business has never been just about furniture.

Over the years, clients have become friends. Some call her during difficult moments simply because they trust her calming presence and organization. Others refer family members and neighbors who need help navigating life’s next chapter.

“There’s a saying—if you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life,” Falco says.

Seven days a week, balancing two stores, estate sales and interior design projects, she still lights up talking about her work.

For Falco, exploration is not only about discovering beautiful pieces. It is about helping people move forward, one home—and one story—at a time.
