What is Keeping Me on My Health Goals

I wanted to share a few of my favorite things right now. These are the things helping me through the quarantine and keeping me on the path to my health goals!

1. Candles

Every morning during my quiet time I burn a candle by Thistle Farms. I just love its smell, it is so calming and it reads "Love Heals Every Body" which is so true! I also love this product because the proceeds go back to their great organization that is helping women. If you haven't heard of them, check them out. They have a lot of other great products too!

2. Vegan Cream Cheese + Gone Mary Crackers

This is my go to snack right now. Miyokos has a great Vegan Plant-Based Cream Cheese. I am obsessed with the Unlox Your Dreams flavor, and it pairs wonderfully with the Original Gone Mary Crackers. I know so many of us have been snacking more while being at home, and this is a tasty one as well as being a good healthy option. So put down the chips and get some vegan cream cheese and Gone Mary Crackers!

3. TRX

Since the gyms are closed I have been using my TRX a lot. It is a great way to get a full body workout without any weights. Bonus: The kids love to use it too—just add it to the activity list!

4. Vitamins

I am sure you are thinking, "She loves vitamins???" Well yes, I do! Mainly because I am trying my best at keeping my immune system in tip top shape right now. The ones I really like are Truvani brand vitamins. These were created by Vani Hari aka The Food Babe. If you haven't heard of her, she is the one who goes after food companies to try to get them to make their products cleaner and to tell us what is really in their food. So you can imagine her vitamins are very clean! She also has some great plant protein and marine collagen I love as well!

5. Kombucha

I have been drinking more kombucha lately mainly because I have been using it at a wine replacer at night. The days are long, stressful and can be hard, so wine always sounds good at night to help unwind. Unfortunately, it just makes the situation worse. We do not sleep as well it slows down our metabolism, and I don't know about you, but I was waking up feeling not ready to take on the day. So I started drinking a glass of kombucha at night instead. Kombucha is great for our gut and our immune system, so it is a win-win! If you haven't tried it yet, GT Kombucha has a great new spring flavor I am loving called "Bloom." I found it at Whole Foods, and it is wonderful!

I hope each of you are finding things you are loving right now during this time at home. Sometimes it is the small things that can make a big difference!
