Christmas on Comstock and Lights on Liberty Lane are two Gilbert streets that take Christmas decorating to the next level as both impressive displays have appeared on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight. 

Riparian After Dark is an annual holiday event that features thousands of holiday lights and displays along the popular trails of the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch.

Christmas on Comstock

This neighborhood is quite the spectacle during the holiday season, attracting visitors from all over the state. In previous years, the animated light show has featured 13 homes and 110,000 lights. The light show is synchronized with music and guests can listen by tuning in to 88.1 FM. They also accept donations for the Make a Make-a-Wish Foundation and sometimes Santa stops by to visit and take pictures. Christmas on Comstock usually runs from December 1 to December 31 and is available for viewing 6-10 p.m. on weekdays and 6-10:30 p.m. on weekends. Lights on Liberty Lane

Following their spectacular Halloween light show the Richlins family is transitioning from spooky to merry for this year’s Christmas Lights on Liberty Lane. The Richlins have been putting this light show on for 16 years now and it gets updated with new songs and displays each year. Sometimes snacks like popcorn are available as well as some warm and delicious hot chocolate. The lights typically run from 6-10 p.m. daily. Riparian After Dark

Experience the enchanting holiday magic at Gilbert's annual Riparian After Dark event, brought to you by the Sundt and PCL Construction partnership. Wander through 1.5 miles of scenic trails, adorned with thousands of sparkling lights and festive displays at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch. The event will take place from Friday, December 8 to Tuesday, December 19, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. Holiday treats from local food and drink vendors will also be available for an extra dash of seasonal delight. Arizona Lights in the Night

Drive about 5 miles north of Gilbert to Mesa for Arizona Lights in the Night, a drive-thru holiday light show with over a million lights and life-size candy canes, snowmen and Christmas trees galore. The event is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from Friday, December 1 to Sunday, December 31.
