Lilly Sage Apothecary of Roswell is bringing a new line of skin renewing botanicals to the market. The LS. Topaz botanical line was inspired by the multifaceted beauty of topaz gemstones. The line is formulated with some of the most powerful botanical tools nature offers. Its goal is to "Elevate Routine to Ritual."
Free spirited entrepreneur, Carol McEwin, is the owner and formulator. Carol combines her background in art and science to create this dimensional formula. Her measure of success with these products will be "when my customer gets up in the morning, stands before the mirror, and falls in love."
The Tennessee native credits her father's influence as the muse for this product line. "By profession, he was a surgeon. He was trained in medical chemistry but was inspired by nature. He was unceasingly curious."
Carol's complications with skin allergies sparked many conversations about plant-based actions and reaction. The father-daughter team looked to botanicals to solve her skin problems. She recalls with a smile the many times they made soap together.
A self described "hippy" in her early years, Carol married and had two wonderful daughters. After her divorce, she discovered an aptitude for commercial real estate. She landed a well paying and intellectually challenging corporate career.
"Life was good, but another important thing I have learned is that everything changes. It was time to let go and let in, so I retired from that world and began to think about opening a business." It was then she drew from her past love of botanicals to create a future business.
Carol realized that it would take more than a passion to reach her goal. "I understood that both product preservation and stability necessitated formal training. Skincare is both an art and a science that is challenged by customer use, prolonged shelf life and efficacy.”
Lilly Sage Apothecary was born from this journey. It features the signature line of hand crafted bath and body products. The L.S. Topaz line of luxurious body and facial oils, lotions, and serums contain active skin renewing vitamins, minerals, ceramides, and collagen building blocks.
Roswell is the home of Lilly Sage Apothecary and L.S. Topaz. This small batch manufacturer crafts its products in-house. This allows for real time customer feedback during product development.
