Fall in Arizona looks a little different from the rest of the country. While everyone else breaks out the tall boots and sweaters, we’re still battling 100º temps. This means we must get a little creative if we want to dress for fall and still feel cool. We recently worked with North Peoria resident Jenna Oxford and Roka Boutique of Arrowhead to get their take on feeling fall vibes while dealing with our still-warm September weather.

This Michael Stars dress is the perfect autumn rust color and is thin enough that you can wear the long sleeves without dying. Pairing it with fun accessories gives you a complete look with all the fall feels.

Check out our Fall Style Guide on page XX for more fall trends—Oxford has some favorites. “Y’all, I’m from Texas,” she says, “and I love the recent surge in western-themed pieces such as this fringe jacket from Roka Boutique."

Oxford also recommends a good hat to tie everything together and make you look polished.

Another of our favorite fall trends is the use of silk and satin. Oxford loved the black silk jumpsuit. “It feels effortless and incredibly chic—pair it with pretty gold accessories, and you’re ready to caffeinate and conquer!”

Roka Boutique has all the fall colors and prints you need. Bridgette McDonald, Roka Boutique's owner, describes the shop as your local best friend. "Not only for style and gifting," she explains, "but Roka gets to know you!" Stop in and get one-on-one personal attention for your style needs.

Roka Boutique (ShopRoka.com), at 20118 N 67th Avenue, #304 in Glendale, is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
