Nordstrom hosted Bellevue artist, Caitlin Agnew, as a feature artist in their “Evening of Art” series. The event series created by Nordstrom personal stylist, Justin Leggett, brings together fashion, art, music, and culture. Justin saw a need to showcase and mingle local artists, and Nordstrom graciously gave him the opportunity to execute his vision.
Caitlin is an abstract floral artist, most recently inspired by couture floral designs from brands such as Oscar De La Renta, Chanel, Prada, and Gucci. “Couture fashion has a long history of incorporating florals into their designs, and my most recent piece was inspired by Oscar De La Renta’s Pressed Flower design, which was worn by Anna Wintour at the 2021 Met Gala. When Justin invited me to hang my art at Nordstrom, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to showcase it," says Agnew.
