Vintage and Second-Hand Shops Offer Opportunity to Build Your Wardrobe While Helping Save the Planet

Dressing fashionably doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. Whether your personal style is fun and funky, frilly and feminine, understated and sophisticated, or something entirely different, the Oklahoma City metro area is rich in second-hand clothing, vintage and thrift shops that offer something for just about anyone.

By purchasing recycled clothing and accessories, you have the added satisfaction of knowing you’re helping save the planet.

Many of the shops also allow you to get back some of your investment in clothing and accessories by purchasing those items you no longer like, have no further use for, or that don’t fit.

We’ve compiled a list of just a few of the places you may wish to check out. It’s not an exhaustive list; we included places that were recommended and that offered a more upscale inventory. However, know that there are many other options out there, including thrift shops that specialize in helping out those members of our community who need a helping hand. Know that your donations to these shops are much needed and appreciated—just not the focus here.
