With the addition of Hermes on South Congress, Music Lane is starting to resemble Rodeo Drive – and people are here for it. Just over 150 Austinties were treated to a sneak peak of the Parisian fashion house’s third Texas location with a cocktail party at the store the evening before it opened to the public. Following cocktails guests where shuttled to a sit-down dinner at Brazos Hall where Hermes USA CEO Robert Chavez welcomed the crowd and made remarks about returning to his home state, followed by a toast by Florian Craen of Hermes International. Steve Parker created an art installation and composed music performed by the University of Texas Trombone Choir…Across town at Austin Fashion Week Spring 2022, Estilo owner Stephanie Coultress O’Neill, Closet Concierge founder Todd O’Neill and their adorable kids walked the runway (outfitted from Estilo Boutique and Estilo Men, of course) to benefit The Center for Child Protection. While the kids’ clothes came from Estilo, we have a hunch an Estilo Kids store may materialize in the future. You heard it here first.
