February is For Art

Manning Oaks Elementary artists share their view.

Art from the heart is the best. We asked students at Manning Oaks Elementary School why making art makes them happy. We're thrilled to share a few works of art from these budding creators!

“I like doing art because there are so many forms and so many colors. There are also a lot of elements that allow us to really create anything out of any form. In this eye project we used printmaking, and we stamped using ink which was very fun. We wrote down our goals around the border for an extra touch." - Ishita

“The reason why I like to draw is because I can express my creativity. The reason I drew this is because I got inspired to draw from the plants." - Lily

“I like making art because it’s relaxing, calm, and peaceful. I love art because there are so many things you can create. I liked this project because it can show your goals, making it easier to accomplish them." - Cailyn
