Feed Supply Market & Deli: “Our Home or Yours”

Healthy and Convenient Gourmet Meal Options for Your Busy Lifestyle are Within Arm's Reach

Hope Dillon understands what it’s like to work long days and then have to consider what to do about meals for the family. Grabbing something on the run may be an option, but depending upon where you get it, it’s not always the healthiest--or even tastiest--option. Dillon doesn’t want you to deprive yourself of good food, and as the owner of Feed Supply Market & Deli in Gladstone, she stands at the ready to serve you and your family.

“I have always felt that people just work so hard, and when it comes time to eat, it’s nice to be able to grab something good and healthy to eat to take home and enjoy with the family,” expresses Dillon. “Often people don’t want to wait in a restaurant and be served, but they still want good food.  That is where we come in. We are close to home and offer a wide variety of delicious and healthy fare.”

While patrons can certainly enjoy the casual and relaxed atmosphere of the dine-in area, Dillon wants her guests to be able to pop in and pick up some delicious eats from the grab-and-go case that is always stocked with something mouth-watering.

“We have a variety of sandwiches and salads, as well as many vegetable dishes, whole foods, and specialty meals, such as Keto and Paleo inspired meals,” indicates Dillon.  All grab and go items are sold in individual portions, but customers can call ahead and order family-sized amounts. Just tempt your taste buds with something like chicken picatta with roasted vegetables or a warm bowl of cabbage soup.

“We will have an entrée available every night, and about 85% of our menu is gluten-free,” says Dillon, who also prefers the goods and services of local resources and strives to obtain as many locally-sourced products as she can from such favorites as Beautiful Day Farms, Zim’s hot sauces and Bartholomew beef products. (And if you have a hungry dog or cat at home, you can even pick up a bag of pet food here.)

“I love getting to know the local farmers and purveyors,” Dillon says. “And while not everything we have comes from local sources, it is all made with love from other places.”

Feed Supply allows you to create a healthy habit without restrictions. As such, Dillon has created a meal program that will keep customers hungrily coming back for more.

“We have started a new meal program with specific foods for each day of the week, such as Meatball Mondays and Tostada Tuesdays,” she notes. “We will have a lot of specials in the case every day of the week.”

Feed Supply also has fresh, organic, freeze dried herbs and spices; a selection of wine and beer; and a stocked snack cooler, complete with organic chocolates, hard toffee, and cinnamon bears. And a sweet treat is always an option.

“We have teamed up with our next-door neighbor, Laughing Place Bakery, to offer gluten-free prepared foods to go on Tuesdays as part of our meal program,” notes Dillon.

In addition to the grab and go selections, Feed Supply has a market, deli and grocery section, as well as some baked goods. And for those who do enjoy the occasional meal out, Feed Supply has a fabulous Sunday brunch option from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are served on site all day Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
