Favorite Dining Spots Around Town Selected by Our Advertisers

We love our community partners and we know they have exquisite taste. So naturally, we asked them to share their favorite dining spots around town. Their responses shared a common thread; a love of the food and the memories they continue to make each time they visit. We’re thrilled to share these local favorites with our readers.

SEITO SUSHI, Baldwin Park

Dr. Do, Illume Dentist Studio in Baldwin Park, shares her top pick - Seito Sushi, Baldwin Park.

“Part of what makes Seito our go-to spot is that it’s hard to go wrong on their menu. Every time we visit, Chef Huy and Dan are always kind enough to stop by our table, checking in, asking what’s new in our lives, and making sure we’re enjoying ourselves. It makes us feel like we’re “usual’s” here and part of the Seito family.”

Must Try: The tuna donburi, grilled hamachi kama, crispy whole fish, and salt and pepper beef ribs are our favorite dishes.

ROCCO'S ITALIAN GRILLE, Winter Park

Doug Foreman from Fringe Benefit Plans shares that the intimacy of Roccos continues to be a reason why it's his favorite place to go.  “We have celebrated several special occasions, most recently my father’s 83rd birthday in their private room. My wife and I love the intimacy of the restaurant as well as the affordable wine list."

Must Try: Calamari, Carpaccio Con Rucola and the Lombata Alla Milanese

COCINA 214, Winter Park

As her go-to favorite, Kate Lane from Lane Technology shares that she and her husband dine at Cocina 214 typically two times each month, and at this point, everyone from the restaurant knows them.  What keeps them coming back? The consistency of the food, but also “It is close to Park Ave, so after dinner we usually walk the ave.”

Must Try: Chicken Fajitas and the Brisket Quesadilla

MEZA MEDITERRANEAN GRILL, Baldwin Park

Baldwin Park resident, Angela Robbins, has love and loyalty to a place she describes as "lovely and calming energy with consistently incredible food and service... and it's walking distance to my house". Owned by veteran restauranteur, Nazih Sebaali (many locals call him Joe) the fresh ingredients, homemade cooking, and personal hospitality is what keeps her going back regularly.

Must Try: Mix Grill Kabobs, Salmon and Kefraya Lebanese wine
