Ferrari at home in Roswell

Ferrari Event Showcases the Best of Roswell’s Historic Past and Dynamic Present

There were “horses” in front of Roswell’s historic Naylor Hall recently. Not the kind that would have been grazing there back in the 1840s when the elegant house was originally built. These “horses” were cherry red 296 GTB Ferraris that can “run” at over 200 mph!

The past, present, and future converged at Historic Naylor Hall for an epic event to introduce Ferrari’s NEW 296 GTS Convertible. Fun fact, the only official Ferrari dealership (Ferrari of Atlanta, owned by Webb Collums) in Georgia is headquartered in Roswell and has enjoyed success in the area for over 30 years. Jacqueline Johnson, Ferrari Marketing Director, explained why Naylor Hall was chosen for this landmark occasion “Naylor Hall is a beautiful space close to the dealership and it’s located in the perfect area to do test drives. We wanted people to really enjoy the new 296 GTB on the idyllic streets that Roswell offers. Naylor Hall is also dripping with history and true Southern charm, both of which we admire and wanted to incorporate.”

Johnson worked with Naylor Hall owner Sunny Bailey and brought in Gillian Marto and Deb Hull of Roswell’s own award-winning Events of a Lifetime Productions, to design an event that successfully achieved the vision of blending the historic setting with showcasing Ferrari’s sleek, signature style.

At the VIP unveiling party, guests were greeted with a glass of champagne from a Ferrari-branded champagne wall as they entered the historic foyer.  The graceful ballroom was a fitting background for the juxtaposition of contemporary red and black leather seating areas and two branded bars that glowed in Ferrari red.  Guests enjoyed delicious bites as they participated in a Bourbon tasting by Angel’s Envy and were fascinated by the authentic, onsite cigar roller.  A live saxophone artist in conjunction with a DJ gave the room a sophisticated vibe. The highlight of the evening was when the glass doors opened, and guests were welcomed into a beautiful tent draped entirely in black silk.  The focal point, and star of the evening, was the 296 GTS resting on a lighted LED floor draped in the opulence of a Ferrari- emblazoned silk cover.   After a welcome and remarks by GM Craig Forbes and dealership owner Webb Collums, a drum roll echoed throughout the room and the car was dramatically unveiled by a stunning model. Guests had the opportunity to take photos with the car and check out every amazing feature.  Parting gifts were offered by white-gloved hands at a fully branded, 3D live hand wall and were exquisite boxes that contained Ferrari logo chocolate with a gold dusting.  It was a memorable evening in which guests traveled to Roswell from as far away as Nashville to test drive the 296 GTB and attend the invitation-only, dramatic VIP unveiling of the 296 GTS Convertible.
