Hot Spots to Enjoy a Meal with Your Pets

The temperatures may be warm right now in the heat of the summer, however, Gilbert area residents are still seeking a great spot to catch a bite under the misters with their pups.  Dogs are loyal companions, and including them in activities like dining out allows you to spend quality time together.  The moment you step into their outdoor space, your dog's tail wags with anticipation, sensing the vibrant atmosphere and the scent of delicious food in the air.   Remember to always ensure that your dog is well-behaved, vaccinated, and comfortable in public settings.  We invite you to take your fur baby to check out a few of these pup approved East Valley patios.

Hash Kitchen:

Just opened in Gilbert, Hash Kitchen at Verde at Cooley Station is a great spot to bring your four-legged friends. The daytime restaurant offers delicious food and beverage options and is a great spot to bring your pets.


Touted as one of the best outdoor dining spots in Gilbert, OHSO Brewery & Distillery is a very popular spot to bring your four-legged friends. There is a full-on park with games, a full bar, and an enclosed area for your pets to roam and run. The family is invited to come out and enjoy a meal inside the brewery or outside on the patio, then play in the park area with your pet. There is also a huge T.V. outdoors so you won't miss your favorite game.

San Tan Brewing Company:

The Chandler hot spot is a fun place not only to gather with friends but also enjoy a bite to eat with your dogs. Visitors can enjoy an award-winning craft beer and dogs can enjoy fresh water and Otto’s Brew Bones, which are house made peanut butter flavored dog treats. On Tuesdays, dogs eat free from the specific dog-friendly menu.

Over Easy:

Brunch on the patio is always a good choice, and enjoying it with your pop is even easier thanks to spots like Over Easy. Currently 11 locations in the valley, the breakfast-brunch-lunch spot offers a great menu of options. Even better for animal lovers is that $1 from a chosen menu item on their quarterly menu is donated to the #LOVEPUP Foundation.

Morning Squeeze:

With three locations in the valley, including the east valley, Morning Squeeze is a fun spot for humans and pets alike. The dog-friendly patio welcomes Fido and even has a Tail Wagger menu for pups which includes items like Chowhound bowl which is scrambled eggs and diced chicken and made-in-house Doggie Biscuits.

Hundred Mile Brewing Company (HMBC):

This spot is great for local beer lovers who also want to enjoy a meal with their dogs. Located in Tempe, Hundred Mile has a very large and misted patio with lots of shade and fun games, so it is a cool spot to gather.

Tryst Café:

Find health-focused dining options and a full bar at this southeast Chandler restaurant that offers a wealth of dining options for vegan and gluten-free diners. Owners and their pups are sure to enjoy the relaxing dog-friendly patio and next-level dishes.

The Sicilian Butcher:

This popular valley restaurant, with a location in Chandler, offers an expansive patio for diners and their dogs. There is a pup-friendly seating in the shade, backyard garden vibes, indoor-outdoor bars, and casual Sicilian-style meals.

Uncle Bears Brewery:

With several locations valley wide, including a brewery in Gilbert, Uncle Bears is a must-visit spot for Fido and friends. Named after Bear, a cherished black lab mix, Uncle Bears is definitely a spot for all dogs to visit with their humans. There is even a special menu for your hungry hound and servers make sure your furry friend has water as well.
