Skydiving entails jumping out of a perfectly good plane at 10,500 feet. The plane is going 100+ miles an hour. When the door opens there is a cool burst of air. As you "jump" for 45 seconds you are "floating" toward Earth at speeds of 120+ miles an hour. Once the parachute opens, the noise quiets, the view around you calms, and you have pure serenity.
