For Bianca Soma, personal style has never been about chasing every trend. It’s about finding the pieces that make you feel most like yourself.
That philosophy is at the heart of Queen B Boutique, the mother-daughter business that began with a dream decades in the making. Bianca’s mother fell in love with boutiques at just 16 years old, but it wasn’t until age 60 that she finally opened her own. After relocating the business from Kentucky to Hermitage two years ago, the pair expanded the experience by combining the boutique with Soma Headspa - creating a space where, as they put it, “shopping + relaxation meet.”
Working together also means bringing two different generations and perspectives to the racks. Their tastes may not always align, but that’s part of the magic - allowing Queen B to offer pieces that appeal to women across all ages and lifestyles.
But Queen B is about more than finding something new to wear.
For Bianca, helping someone “find YOUR style” starts with a conversation: What does her everyday life look like? What does she feel good wearing? Where does she want to feel more confident?
From there, it’s about building a wardrobe around quality staples, leaving room for personality - and occasionally trying the color, print or silhouette you might otherwise pass by.
This fall, that could mean rich burgundy and chocolate tones, relaxed denim, matching sets and plenty of texture. Bianca especially loves a great statement jacket, an easy way to transform basics already hanging in the closet. Thoughtful accessories can do the same, making a simple outfit feel polished and intentional.
Every piece at Queen B is hand-selected by the mother-daughter duo, but Bianca believes the best style isn’t dictated by what’s hanging on their racks. It’s discovered by paying attention to what makes each woman feel good.
The right outfit doesn’t have to transform who you are. Sometimes, it simply helps you see yourself a little differently.
