Tell us about your day job!
I am a creative entrepreneur and founder of CraftBoxGirls.com and Lynn Lilly Designs, with a mission to inspire women to add creativity to their homes through easy DIY home projects, kids' crafts, simple design projects, party inspiration, and more. Over the last few years, I have evolved my brand to design and create products, publish a children's craft book, host over 500 television segments, work with some of the industry's top brands and inspire millions through my website platforms.
What advice would you give a young woman entering your industry today?
Success doesn't come overnight, but from creating a strong business model and being willing to pivot and grow as the industry and the world changes.
How do you destress, find your zen, relax at the end of a busy day?
I love to decompress with a good magazine, catching up on Netflix or relaxing with a paintbrush and watercolor palette.
What are your pet peeves in the workplace?
I am fortunate to have an amazing team that is excited to come to work and filled with so much creativity and drive to try new and innovative things. My biggest pet peeves when it comes to the workplace is lack of communication and missing deadlines.
How will you be spending Mother's Day this year?
If it were up to me I would love to have brunch somewhere on Canton Street and spend the afternoon at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and then have my hubby handle bedtime for the kids so I can get some zen time!
