Children’s Restoration Network was founded in 1993 by Jim Cox and Cliff Kinsey. What began as a small group of volunteers lending a hand at a shelter in downtown Atlanta has expanded and grown into an organization based in Roswell that serves thousands of children and mothers each year.
Today, the Children’s Restoration Network works with over 100 shelters and group homes in 19 counties. These facilities house more than 3,600 children each night and more than 6,700 children each year. In addition, thousands of volunteers work with CRN throughout the year. These volunteers are the foundation of our organization and our work is only made possible through them. CRN continues to work hard to ensure the vast majority of all donations go directly to the children and mothers served.
Their mission is to offer hope and support, enabling children and their mothers to break the cycle of homelessness by empowering them to become part of mainstream society as active, productive citizens through programs and special events designed to address their academic, emotional, and physical needs.
