A new music festival debuts here in Atlanta in October, featuring several of Atlanta’s favorite artists Lalah Hathaway, Avery Sunshine and Rahsaan Patterson. An immersive arts and entertainment experience, For the Culture Musicfest (FTCM) looks to bring a fresh twist to the Atlanta Music Scene. The festival is a uniquely curated community event designed to represent the wide range of aspects that our culture influences including: music, art, fashion, community, health and wellness. Councilmembers Marvin Arrington and Andre Dickens are championing the health and wellness component and through the generosity of community health partners the American Cancer Society and Morehouse School of Medicine attendees will have an opportunity to participate in free health screenings while enjoying the talents of these three artists and an evening of amazing performances.
