Pacific Festival Ballet

Mission: Pacific Festival Ballet is a not-for-profit institution with a rich history of presenting performance art to the Greater Conejo Valley. The semi-professional company strives to cultivate tomorrow’s stars of the dance world while bringing the brightest talent from across the globe to our community. Their partnership with the city of Thousand Oaks and the Bank of America Performing Arts Plaza provides a forum for creative expression from a strong network of company dancers, professional alumni and guest artists. PFB features three major productions each season, preserving the tradition of classical ballet while creating innovative theater to explore the ever-changing facets of dance.

Since its inception in 1994, Pacific Festival Ballet has worked to create a strong tradition of civic support through public performances, local outreach and children’s educational programs. Today, PFB continues to give aspiring dancers trained at its official school, California Dance Theatre, an opportunity to perform on stage with seasoned professionals while entertaining audiences of all ages throughout the year.

TOArts

Mission: TOArts is the nonprofit fundraising and presenting partner of the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, enriching Ventura County and greater northern LA County through transformative arts experiences, robust arts education and support for local artists and arts organizations. Formed in 2017 from the merger of two beloved community organizations—the Alliance for the Arts (founded in 1980) and the TOCAP Foundation (1994)—TOArts carries forward a legacy rooted in the community's dream of the Civic Arts Plaza. Today, that dream flourishes as thousands of students experience live theatre, emerging creators find their voice and world-class performances strengthen our region's cultural vitality. Guided by a commitment to equity, access and creativity, TOArts is building a community Where the Arts Thrive for All.

2026 Event Highlights

  • More than 7,000 local students will experience the magic of live theatre through Kids & The Arts this school year.
  • As a VibeWell grant recipient, we're pioneering work at the intersection of arts and mental health through our pilot Artist Incubator Program, an upcoming community-wide photography exhibit called Seeing Happy and more collaborative healing through creativity.
  • Four National Geographic Speakers are coming to our community through Trailblazers Ed events, paired with experiential Creators Club offerings like intimate Paint & Sips in the Verizon Founders Room in the Fred Kavli Theatre.
  • This spring, the Youth Arts Leadership Academy—now at its largest cohort ever with 25 students—will showcase their talents at a student-led film festival celebrating community voices and vision.

“When you support TOArts, you're nurturing the next generation of artists, bringing world-class experiences to our community and ensuring the arts thrive for all,” says Executive Director Niki Richardson.
