The sun shone brightly as the plane descended into Anguilla. As the plane touched down, we could already feel the warmth of the island and the peacefulness that surrounded it. It was an easy 2-and-a-half-hour direct flight from Miami International Airport. The Four Seasons in Anguilla was the perfect place to stay. Peaceful, quiet, and private, it was the ideal resort to relax and unwind. As soon we arrived, we were welcomed with cool drinks and warm smiles from the friendly staff. We felt right at home. Our suite was well appointed with a private outdoor plunge pool on the balcony and a relaxing living area. The views from our room of the crystal blue waters and the sound of the ocean waves were enough to make anyone forget the outside world. We were especially impressed by the amenities offered at the resort. From the three restaurants, the high-end boutique, and the incredible fitness facility, we had everything we needed to make our stay truly luxurious. You never know who you’re going to meet there, as the resort is frequented by professional athletes, celebrities and executives.
We took in the beauty of the island while lounging by any one of the three pools, taking a dip in the ocean and morning walks along Meads Bay Beach. The ideal time to visit is in February and March- when the sunsets are spectacular and the floating pool bar is open. The island breezes keep you cool and the sun is just right for getting a golden tan. The resort offers rooms ranging from 1-5 bedrooms, making it perfect for couples’ trips, girls' weekends away, or family vacations. The villas even come with your own golf cart.
