Since May 2020 Free Lunch ATX has been providing daily meal support for the Camp Esperanza unhoused community in Southeast Austin. The program serves around 160 nutritious meals 5 days/week and gets help from some of the city's most iconic restaurants including Franklin BBQ, OMGSquee, AllDay Pizza, Antone's, and Juiceland which supply recurring donations to support the cause.
To ensure consistent funding to sustain its mission of being a reliable source of nourishment for the affected population, Free Lunch ATX produces a quarterly magazine, funded by $10/month donations. As Free Lunch ATX was founded by a group of local creatives, the magazine showcases local photography and local musicians, recipes from local chefs and more.
