Why we love detergent sheets

I went on a diet and it feels so good.

I cut out the mountain of big plastic jugs for soaps and detergents in my life and I feel lighter, cleaner and more responsible. When we became empty nesters, I noticed the bulk of our recycling was plastic, so I did a bit of research on alternatives.

I'm loving laundry detergent sheets which are equally as tough on stains and cheaper than the plastic-packaged soaps. Scents are less intense, so if you like perfumed laundry, look for in-wash scent boosters.

Kind Laundry offers two scents, non-toxic, chemical-free and contained in 100% recyclable packaging. Many eco-friendly brands offer a subscription to sync with your needs.

Check out the list of Kind Laundry's "hero ingredients:"

Sapindus Mukorossi - Commonly known as "soap nuts" produces a foam and works as a natural surfactant to trap dirt and remove it.

Camilla Japonica - A natural softener and degreaser. Cold-pressed oil sourced from the seeds of a plant native to Japan.

Kaolin - Highly absorbent cleanser and deodorizer. This mineral clay helps give the sheets their shape.

Sunflower Seed Oil - Protects fabrics from discoloration and naturally softens.
