Tucked in the heart of South Ogden, Star Point Nutrition buzzes with a vibrant energy you can feel the moment you walk through the door. More than just a spot for protein shakes or sugar-free drinks, it’s a thriving community built on transformation, resilience, and connection.
Founded by Itzama Garcia—a proud Mexicana, single mom of two, and wellness coach by passion—Star Point Nutrition was born from a deeply personal journey. “I didn’t start with a wellness background," Itzama shares. "Actually, I was unhealthy and uninformed. But after seeing other entrepreneurs thrive in health, I realized I could do it too.”
What began as a personal transformation quickly became a mission: to create a space where others could discover the power of wellness in a supportive, uplifting environment.
Growing up as an immigrant shaped Itzama’s mindset, but entrepreneurship redefined it.
"In our culture, we often inherit the belief that working hard for someone else is the only way to succeed," she says. "But I knew I didn’t want to pass that mentality on to my kids. I wanted more for them and myself."
Today, Star Point Nutrition—run alongside her supportive parents—is a testament to that shift. The shop is more than a wellness stop; it is a home for connection, encouragement, and empowerment. Customers don’t just find energizing drinks and meal replacement shakes—they see a team cheering them on through every step of their health journey. Whether someone is just starting out, exploring new habits, or simply needing a mood boost, Star Point offers flavor and purpose.
The menu features sugar-free energy teas, immune-boosting options, plant-based protein shakes, and drinks crafted for digestive and hydration support—each item designed with both taste and results in mind. "We want people to feel amazing, not just satisfied," Itzama explains. "If we can help someone swap out their daily energy drink or sugary snack for something nourishing, that’s a win."
But Star Point Nutrition offers more than products. Itzama and her team provide wellness evaluations, personalized nutrition plans, at-home guides, and free community workouts every Monday and Sunday. The space itself invites everyone in—sometimes just for a good conversation. "Even a kind word can make a difference," she says. "And if someone wants to build a business from home, we offer mentorship opportunities too."
As for the future, Star Point is just getting started. With plans to expand into multiple locations—including out-of-state—Itzama envisions bringing this kind of personal, holistic support to even more communities.
"Wellness isn’t just about what’s in your cup," she says with a smile. "It’s about what you believe you deserve. We’re here to remind people of that—every single day."
