When an empty-nest couple decided to remodel their master suite, they turned to Bellevue-based design consultant, Heather Thompson. Physical upgrades included an enlarged shower, soaking tub, increased counter and cabinet space, marble tile flooring from ProSource, and the installation of French doors. In the bedroom, Heather sourced floral fabrics with lots of natural fibers, including floor-to-ceiling drapery treatments from Brave Maggie Designs and bedding from Sprintz. Accessories and furnishings included lamps from JJ Ashley’s and night stands from Pd’s Franklin. Muted colors on the walls, along with mixed metallics in the décor trim and live foliage completed the look.
