LaRue1680 is a new luxury tea company crafted by Alpharetta's Stephanie Synclair, a lifelong entrepreneur and lover of all things exquisite. Inspired by the old European influence that was everywhere in the south, Stephanie dreamed of traveling to far off worlds since she was a little girl. Inspired by her travels in Europe and Asia, Stephanie wanted to bring back this gift of self-care back home to Georgia. She put her heart, soul and a little magic into curating these special flavors for her clients and her community that she loves so much.
Tea offerings with a twist include India Street Vanilla Chai, Italian Cream Earl Grey, Moroccan Mint, Yerba Mate and Hibiscus. Custom curated exclusives such as Casablanca Street, an enticing blend of apple, elderberry, rosehip, papaya, strawberry, raspberry, kiwi, hibiscus, rose, sunflower and cornflower petals and New Orleans Praline & Cream. The loose-leaf teas are sold in .5 oz tins or 2 oz bags for $15-$23 depending on the flavor.
Growing up in the south in a suburb outside of Birmingham, Alabama, Stephanie loved the feeling of being just outside the limits of the city, but in a quiet, family-oriented area. When She was looking for a place to move to with her son, she felt the alluring pull of Alpharetta and envisioned raising her son in a similar place to her hometown. The great school system was top of her list and when they visited, she just knew it was home. Stephanie loves that downtown Alpharetta reminds her of a hallmark movie town -she loves visiting the boutiques and the custom perfumery. Before Covid, Stephanie would spend time at the Alpharetta Farmers Market on Saturday mornings and, during the summer, loved enjoying all the concerts and movies in parks around the community.
