Aristotle “Ari” Bowles makes it clear that relationships are paramount. As the incoming co-defensive coordinator for Johns Creek High School’s football program, he hopes to use his collegiate football experience to help guide student athletes through the recruiting process.
He will join the faculty, teaching chemistry to sophomores and juniors. “I believe students don’t truly engage with or understand content unless there’s a strong relationship in place,” he says. “The same is true in coaching.”
A native of Charlotte, NC, and graduate of NC State, Ari has a strong family foundation. He considers his grandfather an influential figure in his life, having demonstrated values of resilience, caring for people, embracing change and prioritizing family.
Father’s Day this year will be celebrated early by Ari and two important fathers in his life – his dad and brother (a new dad), in Anderson, SC.
In his spare time, Ari follows football content, especially the Carolina Panthers and the NFL draft. Staying connected to the game and observing how teams build their programs brings his personal interests and career together. Outside of sports, he enjoys listening to Wes Huff, a Canadian theologian, and shares an impactful book entitled “The Men We Need” by author and radio personality Brant Hansen.
In June, Ari celebrates his first anniversary with his high school sweetheart, Myah, whom he met in seventh grade and has been with since freshman year.
We wish Ari all the best for a wonderful summer and fab football season.
