Fort Worth Public Library's newest guide to exploring the Unexpected City

The Fort Worth Fun Tracker was launched to offer a year-round program to inspire, inform and entertain people of all ages. Started by the Library’s Life Long Learning Team, the goal is to highlight the kinds of things the modern Fort Worth Public Library offers the community. The Fort Worth Fun Tracker encourages residents to experience the city in a new way!

Things to Know:
1. The Fort Worth Fun Tracker is easily accessible through the Beanstack app or website. By signing up with an email, users can view monthly activities, review books they've recently read, and receive book recommendations—all for free! It's perfect for anyone on-the-go who wants to make lasting memories while exploring all that Fort Worth has to offer.

2. Each season, the Fun Tracker is updated with a fresh lineup of curated seasonal activities unique to Fort Worth. From floriography events to cultural cuisine restaurants to outdoor gardening events, there's always something new to discover through the free guide. The Fun Tracker helps you stay in the know and make the most of every season!

3. All ages are welcome to join! Both adults and children can easily register on the Beanstack platform, where they’ll receive activity recommendations personalized to their age group. Whether you're seeking fun, educational opportunities, or ways to explore the city, Beanstack provides a wide range of activities to suit the interests and needs of everyone in the family.

4. Every participant can pick up a free Fort Worth Fun Tracker souvenir booklet at any Fort Worth Public Library location. Each library offers a unique stamp, allowing kids (and adults) to track the activities they have completed and the libraries they have visited. It's a fun way to explore the city while keeping a personal record of your adventures.

5. There are incentives along the way: monthly, seasonally, and yearly! Reaching 20 points each month earns a completion stamp and reaching 50 points each season earns a season completion sticker for your Fun Tracker souvenir booklet. At the end of the year, every badge earned will be an entry in a city-wide drawing to win a bicycle.

6. The Fun Tracker is an excellent educational tool, especially for kids during the summer months. Many activities are themed; events across the Dallas-Fort Worth area paired with a curated lists of books, articles, and age-appropriate films. These resources are designed to enhance understanding of various monthly themes, holidays, and celebrations, offering a well-rounded educational experience for all participants.

7. Some activities listed on the Fun Tracker are repeatable, rather than a one-time event. Each month, the Fort Worth Public Library offers computer and language classes, craft and art programs, and clubs to stretch imagination. Users earn points each time they attend one of these programs! Users can also earn points for each e-book checked out through Libby!

8. The Fort Worth Fun Tracker is only one aspect of what the Fort Worth Public Library offers. Other resources to check out include a large collection of books and materials, video games, backyard game kits, musical instruments and so much more.
